FAQ

Answers, before you ask.

What is Get a Murshid?

A guidance marketplace where seekers ask paid private questions, book 1:1 calls, join mentorship sessions, and attend webinars. Murshids who have completed verification carry a verified badge.

How do seekers use it?

Create an account, tell us the decision on your mind, discover a murshid who’s been there, then ask a private question or book a call.

How do murshids earn?

Murshids set pricing for questions and calls, answer seeker questions, host sessions or webinars, and receive payouts through Stripe.

What if a murshid doesn’t reply?

Every question has a response deadline — 7 days by default. If the murshid hasn’t answered by then, your payment for that question is refunded automatically. You don’t have to ask.

Are conversations private?

Your questions are private by default, between you and the murshid. An answer can only be shown publicly on a murshid’s profile if you allowed public sharing when you asked — the murshid cannot publish it on their own. Anything published appears without your name attached. Calls and messages are never published.

Can I change my mind about public sharing?

Ask us and we’ll unpublish it. A murshid can also remove a published answer from their profile at any time. Note that we don’t automatically edit personal details out of the question text, so avoid putting information you wouldn’t want shown into a question you’ve allowed to be shared.

Which meeting tools are supported?

Murshids can connect Zoom and Google Meet so booked calls generate meeting links automatically.
